Best AI Search Monitoring Tools in 2026

There are plenty of tools that monitor your visibility across AI engines now, and almost all of them promise the same thing on the homepage. The difference hides in the fine print: which engines come with the entry plan, how often they measure, and what it costs once you add everything up.

I compared seven of the better-known ones using their official prices and plans, reviewed on July 23, 2026. Here’s the table first, then an honest run through each, with who it fits and who it doesn’t.

Two things to keep in mind when you read the table. The entry price hides surprises: in Otterly and Orchly you pay for Gemini separately, and Peec’s base plan lets you choose 3 models. This is ours, so take it with whatever caution you like, but the numbers are in the table. It tracks your presence in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and more daily, with Gemini included from the first plan at no extra cost. The price is flat (€19.90/mo) and there is a free plan with no card. The clearest difference from the rest is language: dashboard, support and content in Spanish, built for the Spanish market. Otterly

A solid entry point at $29 if your priority is ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot. Gemini isn’t in the Lite plan and is sold as an add-on, so include that cost when comparing full coverage. Polished interface, international focus.

Peec

Powerful and aimed at EU marketing teams, but its entry plan costs $95 and lets you choose 3 models. For most small businesses it’s expensive to start. It makes sense once you manage several brands and need depth of analysis.

LLM Pulse

Reasonable price (€49) and Gemini included, but its self-serve plan tracks weekly, not daily. If your sector moves slowly it can work; if you compete somewhere answers shift every week, you’ll fall short without jumping to Enterprise.

Orchly

A $49 plan with 25 daily prompts and a global focus. Like Otterly, Gemini is an add-on, and it doesn’t cover Copilot, worth noting if Microsoft matters to your audience.

Rankshift

A credit system (150/day) and a frequency you set yourself, up to several times a day. Gemini comes with the plan. It’s built for the anglophone market and for anyone who wants to fine-tune tracking frequency.

Profound

The enterprise option of the group. It starts at $99, doesn’t offer a standard trial (it gives a diagnostic report instead), and Gemini only shows up at the Enterprise tier. If you’re a large US brand with budget, it’s serious; for a small Spanish business it’s a stretch.

How to choose without regretting it

Before you pay anything, check three things in this order:

1. Which engines you actually need. If Gemini matters to you, check whether it’s in the base plan or billed separately. Much of the real price is decided there.
2. How often the plan you’ll buy measures, not the one on the homepage. The gap between daily and weekly changes what you see.
3. What language and market you work in. A tool built for the US can measure your real customer’s Spanish queries less well.
